Nintendo Wii Review

First, I am not a fan of casual games like Wii Sports and Wii revealed very few bits for the good (eg, Zelda, Brawl) and the acquisition of previous generations of games. After review and evaluation process. This is my first game console. Not that I have not played before, it all started with the old gray gameboy, I just never stop console. But the connection is surprisingly simple. I have a quarter of an hour for the entire building is required. Unfortunately, the shop where I bought the console, the game of my choice (which is new Zelda) is not. So I was educated in the early days of Wii Sports. This helped me for the rest of my life, enough, I'll play more in the leaf Wii. Not only was deadly dull, even after all of five minutes and is free to play hell of muscles during the night. Also, and this is an outrage, the game is now (since my Wii in late August last year) in a cheap cardboard cover, not in a plastic box in which all the other games. More misinformation on the shelf. Well, then get away from Wii Sports. If you have the player, you can also increase the pleasure Wii. Where: Rumgefuchtel The smaller the better. Although it is also practical, such as swinging a sword, but his arm to thank one later, when you play almost without any specific yet announced as a function of restrictions Wii Remote. The best example: Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Even the menu, you must move the remote control and this is good. Then there is backwards compatibility: easily the Wii can play GameCube games, even with accessories such as cable for Game Boy Advance is compatible. However, it is possible for the Wii games, GC controller compatible and noted that recognize only the first Nintendo controller, and Gamecube games to play with the products of other companies. You must purchase a memory card to save GC games, but must be used almost exclusively. For Internet connectivity, and thus the virtual console is actually one of the reasons why I zuzulegen a Wii, I have unfortunately no Wi-Fi say anything, but could soon be growing even accessories to enjoy the old Nintendo games come. In general, we can say that the Wii is too casual to opponents of the hype that if you do not have all the good games from generations past few years, completely exhausted.

History of Nintendo (1956–1975)

New ventures (1956–1975)

In 1956, Hiroshi Yamauchi (the grandson of Fusajiro Yamauchi) visited the U.S. to allocution with the United States Arena Agenda Company, the ascendant arena agenda architect in that country. He begin that the world's better aggregation in his business was alone application a baby office. This was a axis point, area Yamauchi accomplished the limitations of the arena agenda business. He again acquired admission to Disney's characters and put them on the arena cards to drive sales.
In 1963, Yamauchi renamed Nintendo Arena Agenda Aggregation Limited to Nintendo Company, Limited. The aggregation again began to agreement in added areas of business application the anew injected capital. During this aeon of time amid 1963 and 1968, Nintendo set up a auto company, a "love hotel" chain, a TV arrangement and a aliment aggregation (trying to advertise burning rice, agnate to burning noodles). All these ventures eventually failed, and afterwards the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, arena agenda sales dropped, abrogation Nintendo with 60 yen in stocks.
In 1966, Nintendo confused into the Japanese toy industry with the Ultra Hand, an extending arm developed by its aliment architect Gunpei Yokoi in his chargeless time. Nintendo connected to aftermath accepted toys, including the Ultra Machine, Love Tester and the Kousenjuu alternation of ablaze gun games. Despite some acknowledged products, Nintendo struggled to accommodated the fast development and accomplishment turnaround appropriate of the toy market, and fell abaft the absolute companies such as Bandai and Tomy.
In 1973, the focus confused to ancestors ball venues with the Laser Clay Shooting System, application the aforementioned ablaze gun technology acclimated in Nintendo's Kousenjuu alternation of toys, and set up in alone bowling alleys. Nintendo Wii Freeloader

Any hard core gamers knows that many of the best games - or at least the most unique games, come right out of Japan. Most of these games never see the light of day in the United States or Europe and gamers are left wanting and drooling for games they'll never have the chance to play. At least that was the case with the Gamecube and now also with the Nintendo Wii. Then along came a little disc called the Freeloader, that allowed any Gamecube to play any Japanese game with ease, with no mod chip required and no need to open your console.
Why do I mention Gamecube and Wii playing import games? Simply because the Nintendo Wii is also compatible with every single Gamecube Game, including the FreeLoader disc. Because the Nintendo Wii can boot Gamecube Discs / games, you can also load the Freeloader and finally take advantage of all of the great Import games on the market. The Nintendo Wii Freeloader is a disc, that allows any Wii owner to play import Gamecube games without a mod chip. As you may have guessed, the Freeloader was not actually manufactured for the Nintendo Wii, but was instead a product that has been out for several years (with various updates) for the Nintendo Gamecube. Since the Wii can play Gamecube games and is backwards compatible, it will also load the FreeLoader on any Wii console allowing you to play any region Gamecube game with ease.
Now, if this were just any kind of disc, I wouldn't write a review on it. And often times, when I talk about import games, people ask me why I would want to play games that are all in Japanese and can't be played anyway. Or ask me what the big deal is with these games from Japan. The fact of the matter is, over 60% of Japanese import games can be played with no problem. I'm a big fan or racing games and some of the BEST racing games for Gamecube have only been released in Japan. The same would go for first person shooters. But more than that, some of the games are just so very unique, so well designed, that you must try them. You'll immediately become an import game fan once you do.
Regardless of the genre of games you like. By being able to play import games, you're actually expanding your software library, or at least the available selection by thousands of additional games. Many of these games you won't hear about at your local Blockbuster, or in magazine. But online review sites like IGN.com or GameSpot.com have entire sections devoted to import games and import gaming, because there are a tremendous amount of great games available.
This brings us back to the Freeloader. The Freeloader was developed by Datel as a means to cut out the need for installing a mod chip in your Gamecube console to have access, and the ability to play these games. Before the Freeloader, you would need to install a Gamecube Mod Chip like the Xeno Gamecube or the Viper Gamecube chip to play your import and personally backed up games. While the Freeloader won't let you play backup games, it will effortlessly allow you to play Import games from any region on any Gamecube.
I want to also say that this is NOT an article to promote the Freeloader as the next best thing since sliced The Legend Of Zelda for the Gamecube or Nintendo Wii. If you're not into Japanese games, or import games in general, and have no interest in them, then the Freeloader is not for you. It doesn't offer any extras or advantages for any Nintendo Wii or Gamecube owner who is happy to just play the offering of games available in their own country. Its sole purpose is to allow gamers like myself, and tens of thousands of others, to enable the playing of Import games. While I am stressing just Japanese games in this article as they are my own personal favorite. European gamers can also play the latest games released only in the USA on their PAL Gamecube or Nintendo Wii systems as well. Gamecube import games are not just from Japan. If you're a fan or Rally racing games, many of the best games in that genre are released in the UK and Europe.
Just how do you use the Gamecube Freeloader on the Nintendo Wii? First of all, think of it as a Nintendo Wii Freeloader. Insert the disc into your Nintendo Wii just as you would your Gamecube, and then select it from your Wii Dashboard. It'll load up, and you'll be greeted by the Freeloader main menu, where you'll have several selections. While it isn't loaded with features that'll blow you away - that is exactly the reason it's so easy to use. I suppose there aren't really a slew of features you could pack in to software that is intended to do just one thing - play import video games. We can thank the simplicity and ease of use due to the few options it has.
The Freeloader is easy to use, both on the Gamecube and the Nintendo Wii console. You simply put the disc in the Gamecube or your Nintendo Wii, wait for it to load and then pick the map representing the region you want to play. You'll then have to eject the disc from your Nintendo Wii, or open the Gamecube lid, and take out the Freeloader, put in the game you want to play and it will just load for you. It couldn't get any easier really.
In closing, the Freeloader for the Gamecube or Nintendo Wii is meant to do one thing, and one thing only. It does it with ease and work perfectly each and every time. It's not intended to do anything else. Comparing it to other software or add ons for either the Gamecube or the Nintendo Wii would be pointless. If you want to start getting the latest import games without having to wait until the hit the local market - if they ever do at all, then the Freeloader is the easiest and cheapest way to get you started.

Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle

Well, I've finally decided to get it. A few days ago, I finally made the difficult decision of purchasing the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle. Alright I admit it, it's not really that difficult because I got it at a real bargain. When I received the package in the mail, I couldn't contain my excitement. After all, the Nintendo Wii Fit is the latest innovative games and workout machine out in the market today!
What's In The Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle?
As I unpack my Nintendo Wii Fit bundle package anxiously, I notice that there are quite a number of items included. There's the Nintendo Wii game console, the Wii Fit Balance Board and a peripheral of accessories such as the console stand, remote for the games console, nunchuck, AV adapter & cables. Included with the balance board is a disc of software which contains activities or exercises such as the yoga, body balance, muscle building and aerobic exercises and routines.
My Wii game console also came with 5 Wii Sports games for Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing. Now, you'll need the Wii game console before you can make use of Wii Fit system. When I was first planning my purchase, I noticed that there were many packages selling at rock bottom prices all over the web. But beware, most of them don't include the Wii game console! You may end up paying more if you buy them separately. If you don't have the Wii game console, the more economic choice will be the Wii Fit bundle as retailers tend to package them at a more attractive price.
My Workout Experience On the Nintendo Wii Fit
After I setup the Wii Fit system, I started working out on it with a heart rate monitor strapped on my wrist. It took a while for me to get used to the menu navigation though frankly, they're pretty user friendly. It may take some time off the workout time but I'm sure that can be minimized once I get more familiar with the system.
What I've noticed was, some of the activities didn't gave me as good a workout as I expected. The soccer heading game was a disappointment and didn't even raise my heart rate above the minimum. And when I compared my statistics across activities such as the Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobic and Balance, the aerobic section stood out.
My favourite by far was the Hula Hoop game. As I tried to balance myself, keeping all the hoops in the air while catching some more, my heart beat was raised to 172bpm. Not only was it a good workout, it was pretty fun and enjoyable.
Perhaps you may be asking "So, do you think the Nintendo Wii Fit is a good way to lose weight?". Personally I don't think the Wii Fit can really help to lose much weight given the nature of the activities involved. Maybe a pound or two a week. But I'm sure they'll be quite effective in another department of your life.

Nintendo Wii - Wii Love It, And So Wii-ll You!

Nintendo Wii is a video game system controlled from gaming industry giant Nintendo Co. Ltd. Despite popular belief, Nintendo Wii is not entirely new – it is actually an updated and renamed version of the company’s very popular Nintendo Revolution. Although Nintendo Wii is considered something of an underachiever by game reviewers because it has fewer added features and less crisp graphics than many other gaming consoles, Nintendo Wii is in fact a big hit with fans and so a big seller.
What’s the attraction with Nintendo Wii?
The secret of Nintendo Wii’s success may be a combination of its affordable price and its unique controlled. The Nintendo Wii allows players to use a controlled similar to a remote control. This motion-sensor technology controlled for the Nintendo Wii allows gamers to use real movements – swings, stabs, and other motions – to control like motions on the screen. Many gamers say that this feature allows them to step into action games more readily with the Nintendo Wii than with controllers that rely on gamers to simply press buttons or manipulate joy sticks.
Nintendo Wii may also be attractive because it does not promise to be a major entertainment system, the way many other gaming consoles today do. Instead, Nintendo Wii markets itself as only a gaming console for those interested in video games. The promise seems to ring true to the many gaming fans who are flocking to the Nintendo Wii. Despite heavy competition from powerful gaming devices like the Xbox and Playstation, Nintendo Wii continues to be the little game console that could, attracting many by its very simplicity and its single-purpose frame.

Best Nintendo Wii Games and Where Can You Get Them

After a successful succession of the Game Cube system, Nintendo Wii has been available on the market for a few years. With unique features, small size and a level of innovation unheard of in the video game industry, it is making quite a name for itself. There are also some great games that are available for the system as well. Some of the games available include Red Steel, Super Smash Bros, Brawl and of course the ever popular Super Mario Galaxy. If you have Game Cube games, don’t worry, you can play those games on your Nintendo Wii as well.
What are the best games?
Sports Games – One of the most popular sports games is the Wii sports game. This game is actually five games in one. You can play golf, tennis, baseball, bowling and boxing. However, what’s unique about the Nintendo Wii experience is that you can actually simulate the natural sports movements of the games. For instance, if you are boxing you can simulate actual punching movements. If you are playing baseball you can simulate swinging a bat or pitching a baseball.
Franchise Games – The Nintendo company is known for building franchise brands that are unique and exclusive to their systems. Every video game fan is at least aware of the Legend of Zelda franchise. Now Zelda fans can experience Zelda in a new way because of the interactive format of Nintendo Wii games. WarioWare: Smooth Moves is another franchise game that you can enjoy on the Nintendo platform.
Where can you get these games?
Traditionally the only way you can get video games for any game console is to either purchase them from a video game store or to rent them at a movie or video game rental company. Now with Nintendo Wii games a new method of distribution has been created. You can now download Nintendo Wii games over the Internet by connecting your system to Internet access.
Wii Media Downloads site is one of the first web sites available for the purposes of providing Nintendo Wii owners with the ability of accessing Wii media downloads for your system. With this web site you now have the ability to download music, movies and games to your Nintendo Wii entertainment system.
So how does this web site work? Basically you pay a one time fee of $49.95. This is a one time payment that you make to purchase a membership to the web site. Once you are a member, you never have to pay again. This means you can download as much content as you want from the web site for no additional cost.
In order to use the web site for Wii Media Downloads you will need a PC and a high speed Internet connection along with your Nintendo Wii system. Once you sign up and get an account, you will be able to log into the membership area.
The membership area gets you access to file sharing networks where you can download whatever you are looking for. You also get access to a special software application that allows you to convert the files over to the Nintendo Wii.
Other advantages for Wii media downloads membership are 24/7 free support, fastest download speed, huge media selection and a simple usage.
I would say the biggest disadvantage is that this web site has no control over the databases where you will download from. This means you could very easily download copyrighted material. In the United States many copyright owners are tracking this and they have the ability to file a complaint to your internet service provider and even sue you for breaching their copyright. Therefore you need to be careful and make sure you don't use this type of service to infringe on someone's copyright. If you suspect a download might be infringing on a copyright, don't download it.
You can try the web site out if you want as they have a very generous refund policy. As long as you request a refund within 56 days, you will get your money back.

Get Into the Groove With Nintendo Wii

While many video games have turned today's youths into small couch potatoes: Nintendo Wii is looking to change all of that. Nintendo Wii, or simply called "Wii" by most people, is an interactive action-based video game you hook up to your television set.
The Wii has taken the U.S.A. by storm and has continuously sold out from any store it has been placed in. People will stand on line in rain, snow or any type of weather to get their hands on the Wii. The Wii sells on eBay for up to three times its selling price of about three hundred and fifty dollars.
When you purchase the Wii gaming console, you get a number of things. You receive the Wii sports disk with several popular sports to play either as a dual player, 4-players or just as an individual. You receive hardware such as the Wii console, remote, nonchuck, sensor bar, console stand and an AV cable.
Everything about the Wii is smartly designed. The Wii console is slim and sleek and will look attractive next to any television set. It is also discrete looking and not bulky or the type of gadget that will take up a lot of space in your living room or family room. The Wii remote control is very intuitive, with buttons being different sizes and also different shapes. You can easily understand just how it works as you are setting up your Wii to play games.
To play Wii you create your own Mii character to represent yourself in the games. This is very much like an avatar that you may have created at Internet websites. The Mii characters are attractive and friendly. While the Mii character will not look exactly like you, it is fun to see this character that looks similar to you interacting within the game or activity you are playing.
This summer Wii has come out with their latest creation: Wii Fit. The Wii Fit is an athletic game of sorts that teaches body sculpting, yoga and aerobics. You can take your BMI (body mass index) and also track your fitness levels. This is ideal for the person that wants to get in shape or who may want to lose some weight. The Wii Fit offers five different sports activities. The activities are easy enough for a beginner to start and will be enjoyable for the advanced exerciser.
The only challenge one could wonder about is if those that use the Wii Fit will get bored with the exercises just the way people get bored with an exercise DVD and they require some type of variety for stimulation. Perhaps Wii is already ahead of us in this respect and is planning even more athletic "games" to be added to Wii Fit.
The Wii is a very creative idea for a video game and certainly has both children and adults getting up off the couch to play with it. This fun game can burn several hundred calories an hour, just like regular exercise. With its popularity, it is clear that many adults and children are enjoying Wii very much and continue to use it far beyond its early popularity. Nintendo is known for bringing us many high-quality video games and the Wii is simply an ingenious answer to the American obesity crisis.
